Renown Gospel musician Andraé Crouch, popularly referred to as “father of modern gospel music, has passed on. he died yesterday afternoon at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles after he suffered a severe heart attack and was hospitalized on Saturday. The seven-time Grammy Award winner and Academy Award nominee is known for his popular works include leading the choirs that sang on Michael Jackson‘s Man in the Mirror, and Madonna‘s Like a Prayer. He has also worked with Elton John, Diana Ross, Quincy Jones, and many other reputable music icons. may his soul rest in the bosom of the Lord. amen
