FIRE GUTS OVER 300 SHOPS IN SABONGARI, ZARIA

According to premium times, An early morning fire on Saturday, destroyed no fewer than 300 shops, alongside properties worth millions of naira at Sabongarin Zaria main market in Sabongari Local Government Area of Kaduna State. the cause of the fire is still yet unknown although it is suspected to be electrical. Mr. Ibrahim,  the Vice Chairman of Butchers’ Association, Sabongari market said
“It took the intervention of good Samaritans and men of the fire service to put off the fire and prevent its escalation. “However, more than 300 shops have already been destroyed. We are therefore appealing to government to come to our aid.”
